Joanne Cheng is a North American makeup artist who loves to bring out the confidence of everyone she meets. As a kid who wanted to follow in her Dad’s entrepreneurial footsteps, Joanne achieved her B.B.A. in Vancouver before setting up shop in Toronto as a Product Developer for one of the largest candle manufacturers in Canada. Two years was all it took, however, for Joanne to realize that her next life calling was in make-up design, so she put her business career on hold to relocate to Los Angeles, where she received both hair and make-up training at one of the best schools in the industry: Make-Up Designory (MUD).

Joanne has a lot of passion for the makeup industry and is constantly looking for new challenges to improve in her craft. She was selected as the finalist for the Canadian Beauty Group Makeup Competition, where she competed in front of a live audience. Joanne also has on-set experience with television (like CBC’s “Steven and Chris”), movies, music videos, advertisements, published editorials and weddings. With her broad experiences in make-up design, Joanne’s confident she can cater to any of your makeup needs.
